New financing and foreclosure laws enacted under the Naya Pakistan Housing initiative are beginning to transform the Pakistani real estate market, particularly affordable housing, into a modern, dynamic, bankable Business.
Akbar Associates has made another deliberate and focused decision to enter the construction and land development business to take advantage of these new developments and capitalize on the large chunks of land owned by the company and its directors.
As a first step, we are focusing on affordable housing, where our first greenfield project of constructing 1,000 two-bedroom affordable homes along with all necessary infrastructure, including roads, sewerage collection & treatment, and provision of utilities, is in the final design stages with commercial launch planned for January 2021.
We are also considering launching similar initiatives nationwide on other company or director-owned sites.
The interface uses gesture control via the touch sensitive speaker unit to wirelessly adjust audio preferences and the system is also available with active noise cancelling technology for a fully immersive experience.
