Today, we have a strong presence in the local LPG sector that is further augmented by securing longer-term supplies through local sources and imports.
Akbar Associates continues to be proud of its association with Navistar Defense and its authorized distributor and teaming partner for Pakistan.
Akbar Associates’ presence in the IT space is recognized by its CRM solutions and services provided to its clients that are configured around its 21 PRI Avaya infrastructure. In addition, the core banking and hospitality management solutions developed by Akbar’s in-house teams are now going through final testing and certifications before the first Alpha versions hit the market by Q3 2020.
Our entry into the Food & Beverage and Salon & Beauty sectors was based on our recognition of the unprecedented growth in Pakistan’s service sector and the opportunities that it provided. We have entered the market with over a billion rupees in investment by establishing two top-end restaurants in Islamabad’s up-market districts of E-7 and F-6.
Akbar Associates’ Beauty & Salon Division opened its first state-of-the-art and probably the country’s most luxurious ladies’ salon in Islamabad’s most posh area of E-7 in mid-2019 under a franchise arrangement with Nabila, Pakistan’s most valuable brand in the business.
Again keeping to our tradition of exploring the unexplored, Akbar Associates has embarked on a highly ambitious program to develop a local capability to provide locally manufactured hardware necessary for IOT and the growth of the associated software sectors.

Founder
Mohammad Akbar Ansari’s association with the Pakistani Oil & Gas Industry started in September 1948, when he joined the Attock Oil Company as a young chemist. Over the next three and a half decades before the founding of Akbar Associates (Private) Limited in 1983, he became acutely aware of the serious limitations faced by the national industry due to the non-availability of in-country supply chain solutions backed by aftermarket support,
especially for critical service equipment. This realization of limitations and the vision to
mitigate them set the course for Akbar Associates.
With the Blessing of Allah, The Almighty, and following the footsteps of its worthy founder,
Akbar Associates has made substantial progress in the realization of the dream. Of course, we
have faced many failures that have left us wiser and stronger. But with the Grace of Allah,
ours is a story of success that has left us humbled with our heads bowed in thankful
submissions to Allah, The Almighty, and given us the resolve and courage to remain
steadfast and on course to continuously contribute to national growth.
